If It Ain't Broke


Why? Why, why, why? You have a formula. You perfected it. So why is it that this season, you are messing with it? I watch Psych for its pure goofiness and occasional Shawn/Gus slashiness. You know what's not conducive to goofiness? Shawn's mother. And his father pining after her. And Lassiter pining after his ex-wife. And Shawn talking about the "one that got away." And shoving Shawn/Juliet down our throats. And a super OMG! SO DRAMATIC! season finale. No. Just, no. I can't say whether these episodes or good or bad, just that I tune in for one thing, and they're giving me something else. Next season better be friggin' hilarious, but I think I saw a little shark-jumping in season finale. *sob*

If Psych keeps going this way, I'll ditch it after Monk's final season. It's starting to waste my time.

House is trying to woo me back, though; little Cuddy/House crap, no baby drama, lots of House and Wilson (and screaming in the middle of the street like they're married). But Wilson disappeared halfway through and Cuddy stole what should have been his moment. They also missed yet another opportunity to carry over the issues they brought up in Birthmarks. Le sigh. Depending on how the rest of the season plays out, I may hold off on buying the DVD.

Of all the shows I'm watching, Nip/Tuck's having the best season. They're definitely handling Liz/Christian better than House is handling 13's bisexuality or House/Cuddy. I ordered the Japanese DVDs for Nip/Tuck's first season, so I could simultaneously study Japanese and enjoy the bromance :D

I checked out hulu.com, and started watching Firefly. I see why it has such a following - I'm already up to episode six. I heart Mal. "Morbid and creepifying, I'm okay with, long as she does it all quiet-like." XD

And I can't stop thinking about Dollhouse. It's trying to edge out Big Love as my new crack.
